HERITAGE HALL CHARGERS
Coach: BRETT BOGERT
13-1
OFFENSE
Heritage Hall returns with a blend of veterans and newcomers, ready to continue their success. Leading the offense is senior running back Barrett Travis (6-2, 204, Sr.), whose powerful running and athleticism are invaluable. “Some key role players are finally getting their opportunity to step up and be the guy, we’re excited to see who takes on that challenge,” head coach Brett Bogert said. The Chargers will utilize a multiple spread offense. “We’re replacing both fronts this year and will rely on some young guys to step up in a big way,” Bogert added. The offense will find key targets in wide receivers Boston Fuller (5-9, 176, Sr.), Carter Knowles (6-3, 194, Sr.) and tight end Rhett Davis (6-1, 225, Jr.). The offensive line, though young, is bolstered by standout junior David Griffin (6-0, 212, Jr.). With five returning starters, the Chargers aim to maintain their high-scoring expectations.
DEFENSE
The Chargers’ defense will operate from a 3-5-3 base under the guidance of Bogert. “We run the 30 Stack and will mix many fronts, stunts, and coverages. We like to play aggressively and put the offense on the back foot,” Bogert explained. The defensive line features senior Hillman Browne (6-3, 244, Sr.) and junior Rhett Davis, both of whom bring intensity and physicality. In the secondary, senior Cal Welker (6-1, 184, Sr.) and junior Jerrod Williams (6-1, 178, Jr.) will provide solid coverage. The linebacker corps is strengthened by senior Barrett Travis and junior Kline Reuter (5-9, 165, Jr.). With four returning starters, the Heritage Hall defense is set to be an intense unit again this season.
