Eva Tice has enjoyed an outstanding season in cross country this year under head coach Charles Reichert. Tice has competed in the sport for five years and recently finished in 2nd place at the Pre-State meet in Edmond.
Tice currently holds the school record with a time of 18:48 and she continues to devote herself to the sport of cross country.
“My goal is to run in college which I have recently committed to the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, and I want to major in biology there and eventually become a dental hygienist,” said Tice.
During her career, Tice has made some great memories with her teammates.
“My favorite memory would be my sophomore year finding out the girls team made it to state,” Tice said. “The friends I’ve made have really helped me while being here and the coaches are amazing people who care about you and want to make you better not just in the sport but as a person.”
Tice said she enjoys the Jaguar Jamboree and being around her teammates.
“I really enjoyed our home meet that we hosted called jaguar jamboree, it was excited because it was our second time hosting and the team did amazing,” Tice said. “Isaac Forman is always in a positive, good mood so he definitely keeps everyone laughing and our spirits up, I don’t think anyone is really serious on our team.”
