Luther’s Blakely Bounds
VYPE: Blakely, what grade are you in this year what position do you play and when did you start playing basketball?
Blakely Bounds: I am in 10th grade; I am a guard and I started playing when I was five.
VYPE: Was there a former teammate who left an impression on you?
BB: Last year all the seniors and Halyn Browning left an impression on me.
VYPE: What’s your favorite memory as a basketball player?
BB: My favorite memory is my 8th grade year when all of my friends played basketball.
VYPE: What’s your favorite subject in school?
BB: My favorite subject is cinema.
VYPE: What do you love most about your teammates at LHS?
BB: I love that all my teammates are funny and that most of us play the same sports, so we are all close.
VYPE: Who keeps everyone laughing and who is the most serious?
BB: Malia Vigil keeps everyone laughing and Paeton Heron keeps everyone serious.
VYPE: Names someone who we should look for in the future.
BB: Marlee McNair. Even though she is an 8th grader she is very talented and being in a small town it is important to look at the talent coming up and I think she will be the future of Luther basketball.
VYPE: What makes LHS a great place for you?
BB: The community and student involvement in the sports.
VYPE: What are your plans after you graduate?
BB: My goal after high school is to go to a good college and have a success career.
