Q&A with Southmoore’s Lenli Kuchynka – Presented by Kristy Freeman-Shelter Insurance

VYPE: What is your favorite part about soccer and what position do you play?

Lenli Kuchynka: My teammates and coaches. I play forward and outside back.

VYPE: What life lessons has your sport taught you that you use in your daily life and what is the best part of being on a team? 

LK: I’ve played for so long. It has taught me to work well with others. All of the friends I have made are the best part of being on a team. 

VYPE: What teammate has left the biggest impression on you and why?

LK: Lelu Lamb. When we are on the field, she shows how passionate she is about the game. 

VYPE: When did you start playing soccer and are you involved in other sports?

LK: I started playing recreational soccer when I was four. I also like to run cross country for my school.

VYPE: Here is your chance to say thank you to anyone you wish.

LK: I want to say thank you to Coach Swartzendruber. 

VYPE: What is your favorite part about representing your high school as an athlete?

LK: I get to represent my school while doing something that I enjoy.

VYPE: What has been your favorite memory and/or accomplishment of playing soccer?

LK: Going to Arkansas for a tournament this year. I have been able to play different positions this year. 

VYPE: What is the best advice that anyone has given you?

LK: Be confident in yourself and your skills. 

VYPE: What is the most memorable vacation you have taken and why?LK: My club team traveled to California for nationals.
