VYPE: Destin, what position are you playing for CCS and what’s the most difficult thing about that position? 

Destin Edwards: Point guard and the hardest part is handling the ball when teams are guarding full court or trapping. 

VYPE: What’s been the biggest improvement in your game coming into the new season?

DE: My biggest improvement has been my midrange.

VYPE: Which teammate is the most vocal and which teammate keeps everyone laughing?

DE: The most vocal teammate is either Austin Eshlman or Lucas turner and the teammate that makes people laugh is Joey Cox.

VYPE: What do you love most about your team and teammates at CCS?

DE: I love my team’s ability to be focused when it’s time but also be a group of guys I can have a good time with.

VYPE: Who inspires you? Explain.

DE: My dad inspires me because he is the best example of someone who gives their everything for the people they care about.

VYPE: Favorite subject in school and favorite teacher from any grade?

DE: Favorite subject is Math, and my favorite teacher is Mr. McKay.

VYPE: Favorite moment from any season?

DE: My favorite moment is hitting 1,000 points earlier this season.

VYPE: What do you enjoy doing in your free time?

DE: I enjoy hanging out with friends and family and watching sports.

VYPE: What has athletics taught you that you may use later in life?

DE: Athletics has taught me how to build a good work ethic and that I can do hard things.
