Moore’s Karlie Curtis
VYPE: Karlie, what grade are you in and what position do you play?
Karlie Curtis: I play pitcher and outfield, and I’m a senior.
VYPE: What’s the toughest part about that position?
KC: Pitching is more mental than physical which makes it tougher.
VYPE: What’s the strength of your game and what are you working on to improve?
KC: My strength is my bat. I am currently working to improve my side-to-side speed and overall defense
VYPE: What do you love most about your team and teammates at Moore?
KC: I love the chemistry and how quickly we all became friends.
VYPE: Who inspires you? Explain.
KC: My parents because no matter what they are always at my games and will do whatever possible to help me follow my dreams.
VYPE: What makes representing Moore special for you?
KC: I have been around the Lady Lions program since I was four so getting to wear the Jersey makes it special to me.
VYPE: What current or former teammate left an impression on you and in what way?
KC: A former player, Riley Rumbaugh because she helped me get out of my comfort zone and talking more than I did.
VYPE: What would you like to do after you graduate?
KC: I would like to get my DVM and become a veterinarian.
VYPE: Tell us your favorite memory competing for Moore.
KC: My favorite memory is playing games in the hotel rooms and on the bus rides.
