Coach: Rachel Crabaugh

23-24 Record: 23-4

OUTLOOK

After a 23-win season, head coach Rachel Crabaugh is eager to get her team back on the court. With several returning players on a team that features one of the top players in the country, Crabaugh has the team looking like a true competitor.

“Janiyah Williams (5-10, Sr.) is a point guard and a natural born leader that is always striving to improve her game. Williams makes a huge impact on the offensive and defensive boards with her strength, vertical, and ability to finish around the rim. Williams is currently ranked 51st in ESPN’s 2025 HoopGurlz Recruiting Rankings and she plans to attend the University of Oregon to continue her education and basketball career,” said Crabaugh.

Williams will not shoulder the load on her own. Avery Hjelmstad (6-2, Sr.) starts at shooting guard giving the Bulldogs two long, and athletic players in the backcourt. Like Williams, Hjelmstad is ranked No. 49 nationally and has committed to the University of Utah. Auhnesty Hawkins (5-8, Sr.) is a combo guard who brings superior athleticism to the floor. Hawkins is a state champion in track. Also look for Brooklyn Aska (5-7, Sr.) at guard. Aska is tough on both ends of the court and is known for her lockdown defense.

Justyce Booker (Sr.) will likely play small forward where her willingness to do all the little things to help her team win will shine. Booker committed to NOC-Tonkawa and is a multi-sport athlete for EMHS. Another player to keep an eye on this season is Alyssa Fletcher (Jr.), a junior who can shoot and makes great decisions with the ball.
