EDMOND SANTA FE WOLVES
Coach: KYLE WHITE
1-9
OFFENSE
With six starters returning from last year’s offense, the Wolves will look to build a nice mixture of an explosive pass game paired with a physical run game. Santa Fe will operate out of multiple formations with varying personnel and utilizing motions and adjustments to play fast when the opportunity comes. Jae Lin Battle (6-3, 280, Sr.) is a big target at the tight end position but is a physical blocker at the end of the line. The wide receiver corps is led by Maliki Davis (5-11, 175, Sr.), Ty Amous (5-9, 170, Sr.), and Kai Ellis (6-3, 210, Sr.). All three receivers bring differing skill sets to the outside but will provide experienced targets for their junior quarterback Jordan Kennedy (6-0, 175). The work that Kennedy has put in alongside Battle, Davis, Amous, and Ellis should make them an exciting option in the passing game. The offensive line is led by Taylor Resnick (6-0, 265, Sr.) with his experience returning while sophomore Lathan Stokesbury is a physical player with a ton of upside. Stokesbury started the second half of his freshman season at center at the highest classification and will only continue to get bigger not only over the offseason but as his career progresses. “Guys have worked their tails off this offseason and are putting themselves in a position to be successful in the fall,” explained coach White. “The new coaching staff is excited and eager to put new plans in action with our guys.” Coordinating the offense will be Robert Clark and he will be joined on the offensive staff by tight ends coach Chris Paddlety, wide receivers coach Alex Reed, and running back coach Wes Crosson.

DEFENSE
Leading the way defensively for the Wolves is Kansas Jayhawks commit Landen Anderson (6-4, 280, Sr.) along the defensive line. A freak-athlete that provides a big, physical presence in the trenches, Anderson is a great young man, student, and teammate according to coach White. He is a two-year starter and will anchor the line defensively and draw a lot of attention from opponents. Battle is another large presence along the 3-4 defensive front that coordinator Steve Patterson, who has collegiate experience at the JUCO and Division II level, will rely upon as a disruptor. Battle, who is projected as a collegiate defensive lineman, has several Big 12 programs vying to earn his commitment and will likely have his decision made before the start of his senior campaign. Junior Nick Gee (6-0, 260) rounds out the front three for Santa Fe. The Wolves return seven starters from a season ago. The defensive backfield will rely upon Franklin Sherrod (6-0, 190, Sr.) and Trey Robinson (6-0, 175, Jr.). That duo will benefit from the solid play along the line of scrimmage but must make plays when given the opportunity. The fast and physical play style defensively will see Brayden Weathersby (6-1, 190, Jr.) looking to help set that tone from the linebacker position. The defensive staff consists of former Oklahoma Sooner Demontre Hurst coaching the cornerbacks, Cedric Antwine coaching safeties, and defensive line coach Todd Bonnewell.
