VYPE: How did your basketball journey start? How old were you and how did you become interested?
Braydon Morgan: I started playing basketball when I was 4 years old and I became interested by watching basketball.
VYPE: What did you enjoy most about the sport when you first started playing? Has that changed at all?
BM: I just liked how shooting the ball always made me happy and that you can do a lot of different things in basketball and it has not really changed that much.
VYPE: What would young Braydon think about the way you’ve improved through the years?
BM: That I have came a long way and that I can do all the things that the older kids could do.
VYPE: What are the most important skills you bring to the table for Guthrie?
BM: My ball handling, playmaking, and shooting.
VYPE: What does being a teammate mean to you, and what type of teammate do you aspire to be?
BM: Being a teammate means being someone that you spend a lot of time with and play with a lot, so you become close and I aspire to be a teammate that encourages my teammates to do better.
VYPE: Would you call yourself naturally gifted?
BM: Not really.
VYPE: Talk about a time you faced a challenge in the game of basketball and how you responded to it.
BM: When I was not making any of my shots so I started to play harder on defense and create for my teammates.
VYPE: What’s something everybody should know about you?
BM: That I am a very enthusiastic person that enjoys a lot of different things.
VYPE: What are your plans and goals after high school?BM: To go to a college and play basketball.
