OUTLOOK
The roster for the Lady Crusaders is full of underclassmen looking to make their presence felt this season. Head coach Lisa LittleJim does return some experience and that experience will play a huge role in helping this young team mature.
“The Lady Crusaders return three of our top scorers and two top rebounders this season. We also inherited a great freshman class. We have quality and quantity that is resulting in more productivity on both ends of the floor. Speed and quickness will be a strength and will enable us to play more of a full court game. Offensively, we will be very versatile and able to score from many positions. We are looking forward to this team unifying under our upperclassmen’s leadership,” said coach LittleJim.
Brooklyn Hunt (5-11, Sr.) is a post player who can get up and down the floor. Hunt is smooth around the basket and can shoot the three. Hunt’s play will set the tone for the Lady Crusaders. Ashlynne Hale (5-9, Jr.) is a guard/forward that runs the point and has an excellent pullup jumper off the dribble. Hale is another player who can knock down the three ball. Ashton Bullard (Sr.) is a backcourt player that brings quickness, vision and solid play on defense.
Cam Hands (So.) can play forward and could see time at center, giving coach LittleJim a versatile player who can help on both ends of the court.
A talented freshman class will provide a spark off the bench, and some could find themselves starting in their first year of varsity play. The class includes Katie Steger, Finley Edelen, Clarity Cargill, Sophia Thomas, Elizabeth Swinford, Bella Rolofson, Lennon Baker, Olivia-Grace Nuthman, and Sydney Sherrer.
