9 Questions with Softball Player Zamora Walker – Presented by Eskridge Honda

VYPE: What grade are you currently in and how long have you been playing softball?
Zamora Walker: I am a sophomore and have been playing for five years.


VYPE: What position do you play and what position would you like to play?
ZW: I play second base because I like how I’m usually involved in every play and the same
with shortstop because it’s also a very active position.


VYPE: Who has the dirtiest uniform after a game?
ZW: Me, I really like to dive because it’s super fun.


VYPE: Who is the loudest in the dugout?
ZW: Me or Lailoni, we both have loud voices.


VYPE: What is your thought process at the plate?
ZW: At the plate, I take a deep breath and tell myself I can, and I will hit the ball.


VYPE: What are your plans after you graduate?
ZW: I want to go to college for Interior Design.


VYPE: Who has been a big influence in your life and why?
ZW: My dad is my biggest influence; he pushes me to be a hard worker and to have a
positive mindset because he wants me to be the best I can be.


VYPE: What is your favorite school subject and who is your favorite teacher?
ZW: My favorite subject in school is math because once you start to understand it, it
becomes easy, but my favorite teacher is Mrs. Davis, because she’s always in a happy and
cheerful mood, and is just a sweet person in general.


VYPE: What other groups or clubs are you involved in at school?
ZW: I am in the National Honor Society.
