Carl Albert Wrestling – Presented by Eskridge Honda

Confidence runs deep in the halls of Carl Albert High School and in the wrestling room under head coach Curt Hodges.

This season the Titans are back with several state placers and a crop of young wrestlers looking to prove they belong in the chatter about potential state placers and qualifiers.

“We return three state qualifiers from a team that finished 10th team wise. Returning state placer Cash Wiley is a sophomore and junior Brayden Mixay is a two-time state qualifier. He has missed out on placing by one match the past two years,” Hodges said. “The team will be a mix of young and experienced guys. Lots of potential from top to bottom.”

Wiley is a leader on the mat for the Titans and a wrestler with a strong work ethic. After placing third as a freshman, Wiley is looking to get back to state and climb the podium.

Kingston Sikes is a talented wrestler who is making an immediate impact on the team. Sikes was a junior high state champion and wrestles more like a upperclassman. This freshman has a bright future at CAHS.

Also look for Cruz Young who is a returning state qualifier after missing his sophomore season due to injury. A crowd favorite, Young has been big in duals and big matches. Ira Bell is another wrestler to keep an eye on this year. Bell is a team guy who does anything to help his team win.
