CHOCTAW YELLOWJACKETS
Coach: RYAN MALONEY
2024-25 Record: 14-11
OUTLOOK
This will be a fun season to be a Yellowjacket. Head coach Ryan Maloney returns a team that features a fast offense, salty defense and a deep bench.
“Exciting upcoming year for Choctaw. The depth that we have will allow us to play a more up-tempo style. We have good senior leadership combined with talented newcomers,” coach Maloney said.

Everything gets revved with Aliyah Duval (5-10, Sr.) at guard. Duval averaged 10 points with 3.0 rebounds as a junior and is considered one of the top players in the state. The point guard has committed to Oral Roberts University. Another backcourt player with a hot hand is Anniyah Navarro (5-8, Sr.). Navarro averaged 5.0 points with 3.0 rebounds last season.
Lyric Gillispie (5-6, Jr.) and Parker Johnson (5-11, Jr.) added to the offensive output last season going for 5.0 and 3.0 points respectively. Both will battle for rebounds as well. Peyton Braggs (5-10, Fr.) enters her first season of varsity play alongside Essense Curry (5-6, Sr.). Braggs started some games this summer and has shown a big upside as a scorer and defender.
Other players to watch include Makenna Austin (5-7, So.), Lilly Judd (5-10, Jr.), Riley Johnson (5-7, Jr.), Malia Adkins (5-9, Sr.), and Jayden Reece (6-1, Jr.) at center. Follow the team progress on Instagram @ladyjacketbball
