When Kenee Thompson started playing softball she was in the seventh grade. Now a senior, Thompson said her family is a top priority and a source of inspiration.
“On and off the field my family has been a big part of my successes as student athlete,” said Thompson.
This season Thompson said there have been a lot of positives for the Lady Bombers.
“The team chemistry and positive attitudes everyone presented,” said Thompson.
Her competitive drive comes from her desire to constantly wanting to improve her game. Thompson plans on playing golf this spring before she makes the walk as a graduate and heads off to the next chapter of life.
“I’m undecided at the moment but I am most likely going to pursue a career in the Air Force,” said Thompson.
Away from school and sports you can usually find Thompson hanging out with friends and family.
