VYPE: Livia, what grade are you in and what position do you play for the varsity softball team at Midwest City High School?
Livia Davis: I am in 11th grade this year. I am the starting first basemen, and I occasionally pitch.
VYPE: What age did you start playing softball?
LD: I first started playing softball when I was six years old.
VYPE: What are your expectations for this team?
LD: I expect this season to be our strongest season yet. I feel like our team is really working together and we’re seeing success.
VYPE: What do you love most about your teammates and this team?
LD: What I love most about my teammates and team is that we are always there for each other, and we are constantly supporting each other and picking each other up.
VYPE: Who inspires you?
LD: My mom inspires me because she is constantly trying to make our softball season memorable and special, and she cares about everyone so much.
VYPE: Do you have a favorite subject in school or a favorite teacher?
LD: My favorite subject in school is English. My favorite teacher was Mr. Schovanec, he was my Algebra II teacher last year.
VYPE: Do you belong to any clubs or groups at school?
LD: I am in National Honor Society and Interact, which is a community service club.
VYPE: What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
LD: In my free time I enjoy hanging out with friends and family and reading.
VYPE: What are your plans for life after high school?
LD: After I graduate, I would like to go to college to pursue a degree in pediatric occupational therapy.
