Mundell Enjoying Volleyball & FFA – Presented by Evans Hardware

As a freshman, Kyley Mundell decided she wanted to give FFA a shot. Now entering her second year, Mundell is a member of the varsity volleyball team as well.

“Some upperclassmen encouraged me to do it and to pursue what I want to do in the future,” said Mundell.

Mundell is involved in welding and other events with the FFA chapter, and she encourages anyone interested in FFA to give it a try.

“Considering your future, it could be an amazing opportunity. To learn new things and if you need side job opportunities you can sign up for things you wouldn’t usually,” said Mundell.

As a member of the No. 7 ranked volleyball team in Class 5A, Mundell said she’s enjoyed playing this season and loves her teammates.

“I play outside but I’m also an all-around player and the season is going alright we just need more communication. I love the team and how encouraging they are. I started playing at 12,” said Mundell. “I love how encouraging they are and even when we are losing, they pick people up and keep going.”

Mundell said she is inspired by people who blazed a path before her.

“Rylee Reese was one of my biggest inspirations. She was in ag, and she played volleyball. She was also so close to God.”

When her high school days come to an end, Mundell said she plans to attend college and work to become a veterinarian.
