VYPE: What goals do you have for this year in baseball?

Jose Santiago Rojas: Keep getting better and stronger every day.

VYPE: What has baseball taught you that you use in your daily life?  

JSR: Baseball has taught me to be patient, and everything will come with time.

VYPE: What’s your favorite bat/glove to use? 

JSR: favorite bat is the Louisville Slugger Atlas BBCOR Bat (-3). Favorite glove is the Wilson A2000 Infield Baseball Gloves.

VYPE: Who inspires you and why? 

JSR: Everybody in my family inspires me to get better at what I love doing.

VYPE: What do you think is the biggest challenge in baseball?

JSR: The biggest challenge in baseball is to stay consistent at what you’re doing.

VYPE: What do you think makes a great baseball player? 

JSR: A great player has a combination of physical, mental, and social skills.

VYPE: Who in your family is the best athlete? Explain. 

JSR: Of course, I’m the best athlete in the family. But the one who taught me everything I know is my older brother. He played every sport in high school.

VYPE: What’s one sport you wish you could play that you don’t already play?

JSR: I would love to play basketball or pickleball.

VYPE: What’s your go-to pregame song? 

JSR: Big Poppa (2007 Remaster).
