VYPE: What goals do you have for this year in soccer?

Keneth Funes: My goals for this season are to help build a strong team for the upcoming seasons and make the playoffs this season.

VYPE: What has soccer taught you that you use in your daily life? 

KF: Soccer has taught me that there will always be rules we need to follow.

VYPE: What’s your favorite shoe to use in soccer?

KF: My favorite type of cleats is Adidas.

VYPE: Who inspires you and why?

KF: The person who inspires me is my dad because he came to this country without knowing English or what to do but he worked hard now he owns a business.

VYPE: What do you think is the biggest challenge in soccer?

KF: I think the biggest challenge in soccer is having full confidence when coming out of an injury.

VYPE: What do you think makes a great soccer player?

KF: I think what makes a great soccer player is their mentality, go into the game giving it their all and not giving up.

VYPE: Who in your family is the best athlete? Explain.

KF: For me the best athlete in my family is my older brother. He plays soccer and basketball for fun.

VYPE: What’s one sport you wish you could play that you don’t already play?

KF: I wish I could play basketball. I play for fun and I’m pretty good at defense.

VYPE: What’s your go-to pregame song?

KF: My go-to pregame song is “Runnin” by 21 Savage.
