OUTLOOK

The lineup for the Lady Tigers will look familiar to the Norman faithful. With great experience on the court, the Lady Tigers are poised for good year on the court.

“We are returning all five starters and have added three impact transfers. The 2024 Gatorade Player of the year Keeley Parks is returning for her senior year,” said coach Parks.

Keeley Parks (Sr.) was the district and conference MVP last season as well has taking home the Gatorade Award and a finalist for Miss Basketball Oklahoma. Parks has all the tools to be a difference maker at the prep and college levels. Parks had multiple offers from several schools including Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, TCU, Florida, North Carolina, UCLA, Duke, Tennessee, LSU, Kansas, Baylor, NC State, Kansas State, Colorado, and Virginia Tech, but in the end, she chose the Kansas Jayhawks.

Halyn Browning (5-4, Sr.) is a transfer at point guard and is expected to make an immediate impact for the Lady Tigers. Browning has yet to commit to the school at the next level, but she certainly has the talent to take her game to the collegiate level.

Blythe Crawley (5-8, Sr.) has turned a few heads as well, receiving an offer from Southern Arkansas, UT Dallas and Southern Nazarene. Crawley is a hard-working player who never lets up on the court. Expect Crawley to make a big impact this season as teams tend to focus on Parks. Destinee Deer (5-11, Sr.) has committed to Johnson County Community College where she will continue playing basketball for the Lady Cavaliers.

Karsyn Ellison (5-8, Fr.) has a unique opportunity to come in as a freshman and absorb what the upperclassmen can teach her. Ellison is a point guard with a nice outside shot.
