OUTLOOK

Things are looking up for the Lady Timberwolves as they enter the new season with a good mix of experience and youth. Head coach Al Beal said the team will be competitive.

“For the 2024-25 season, we have a solid mixture of competitive and strong returning players and some promising and exciting newcomers. Two of our seniors are committed to play at division one basketball programs and one junior has committed to a division one soccer program. We look forward to a competitive season,” said coach Beal.

Senior guard Seleh Harmon (5-10) will play the shooting guard spot where she has the ability to score at all three levels. Also known as a great ball defender, Harmon has been the statistical leader on the team since she was a sophomore. Harmon is committed to play at Pepperdine University. Olivia Watkins (6-1, Sr.) will play forward again this season giving Norman North another player who can get to the rim and score. Watkins will compliment Harmon giving the team two players an opponent must focus on defensively.

Julieta Diaz (6-3, Jr.) will play center where her length will give opponents problems. Diaz is a solid rebounder and low post scorer. Kenzie Clouse (Jr.) will play guard where her quickness and ability to make good decisions with the ball come into play. Clouse is a combo guard who can run the point or play shooting guard. Clouse has committed to the University of Oklahoma for soccer.

Other players to watch include Camille Mason (So.), Lydia Plummer (Jr.), O’Riah Farmer (So.), Emmie Aga (Jr.), Grace Jones (Jr.), Giada Gates (Fr.), Ash Berry (So.), and Kinley McCoy (Fr.).
