VYPE: Jeremiah, what grade are you in and what age did you start wrestling?
Jeremiah Harrison: I am a sophomore at Norman North. I started wrestling at the age of four.
VYPE: What other clubs or groups do you belong to at school?
JH: I am in National Honor Society.
VYPE: What is the strength of your game and what did you improve on the most this season?
JH: I think a good strength I have is being able to work hard. The most improved thing is my mental game.
VYPE: What was the highlight of the season?
JH: My highlight would probably be becoming a state qualifier.
VYPE: What does the support of the coaches, parents and fans mean to you?
JH: It means the most because without them I wouldn’t be the person I am today.
VYPE: How do you mentally prepare yourself for competition?
JH: I keep the same routine. The consistency helps me get my mind in the right spot.
VYPE: What do you love most about your teammates?
JH: I know that my teammates will have my back so I can have theirs.
VYPE: What is the goal for life after high school?
JH: My goal after high school is to either wrestle or to start finding a good career.
VYPE: Who inspires you?
JH: The person that inspires me on and off the mat is Justin DeAngelis. He is a great coach and a good person.
VYPE: What accomplishment are you most proud of as a student-athlete?
JH: The thing that I am most proud of is the growth I have had at Norman North.
