OUTLOOK

Westmoore boys basketball enters the season with hunger athleticism and a determined mindset after graduating much of last year rotation. With an influx of young talent and returning players ready to carry heavier roles the Jaguars expect to grow quickly under the leadership of head coach Todd Millwee.

Senior Tristian Ladd steps into the spotlight as the anchor of the lineup. His combination of strength competitive toughness and ability to attack downhill makes him the focal point of the offense. He scores in transition finishes through contact and sets the tone with leadership that younger players follow.

“Tristian is a ready to step into a big role for the team. He is tough to stop and he makes good decisions when he gets in the lane,” coach Millwee said.

Freshman guard Brayden Ball brings surprising maturity and scoring ability for his age. He shows confidence with the ball plays at a fast pace and has already proven that he can compete with older varsity athletes.

“Brayden is going to be a very good player. He is a natural scorer. And he is a competitive, coachable player,” coach Millwee said.

The Jaguars plan to defend with energy and pressure the perimeter with a rotation that thrives on speed. Westmoore expects to push the tempo utilize their athletic wings and play in the open floor where their youth and quickness become weapons. With continued development and a strong coaching foundation this group believes it will make significant strides throughout the season.
