WESTMOORE LADY JAGUARS
Coach: EMMA ANDREWS
2024-25 Record: 12-11
OUTLOOK
Westmoore girls basketball steps into a new era with head coach Emma Andrews and a roster built on speed skill and aggressive team defense. The Lady Jaguars embrace a fast-paced attack that allows their athletic guards and wings to flourish in transition and create mismatches.

Senior leaders Kyiah Prestridge (6-1) and Jaelynn Batiste (6-0) form the foundation of the roster. Prestridge is one of the most decorated players in the state with a complete skill set that allows her to score inside and out while also defending multiple positions. Prestridge is a VYPE Top 100 selectee and a 4.0 GPA student. Batiste adds toughness, slashing ability and a competitive fire that strengthens the backcourt. Add Aliyah Prestridge (5-9, So.) to the mix and you have a trio of guards who can press the ball and control the pace of the game.
Sophomore Mersades Glover (5-9) stands out as one of the most talented young players on the roster. Her growth throughout the offseason has elevated both her confidence and her role. She brings creativity shooting and the ability to attack defenders with pace. Also look for Nyla Abdullah (5-8, Jr.) at guard. Abdullah is another guard who brings solid defensive play and the ability to make good decisions with the ball. Other players to watch include Riley Cross (6-1, So.) at forward and Merritt Johnson (5-9, So.) at guard.
Westmoore identity will be built around pressure defense tempo and relentless effort. The combination of senior leadership and rising young stars positions the Lady Jaguars to climb quickly in a competitive conference.
