CROSSINGS CHRISTIAN LADY KNIGHTS
Head Coach: JUSTIN WILLIAMS
2024-2025 Record: 8-16
After an eight-win campaign a year ago, Crossings Christian enters the 2025–26 season with the belief that a major leap is within reach. Head coach Justin Williams, now in his fifth year at the helm, sees a roster with the right blend of experience, size, and youthful impact to push the program into new territory. Returning the team’s top two scorers and adding a talented freshman class, the Knights feel primed to rewrite several school and season records if they can stay healthy.
Senior guard Clara Bebee (5-8, Sr.) returns as the team’s engine and leading scorer after averaging 14 points, four rebounds, and three assists last winter. A relentless worker, Bebee’s dedication shows in her 6:30 a.m. shooting sessions and her commitment to balancing basketball, softball, high-level academics, and multiple leadership roles. With four college offers already on the table, she sets the tone for the entire roster. She’s joined in the backcourt by fellow senior shooter Sophie Starke (5-7, Sr.), who chipped in 10 points per game and knocked down 40 percent of her threes, giving Crossings a proven perimeter threat every night.
The senior class brings stability across the board, with long-time starter Hadley Holloman (5-3, Sr.) anchoring the lineup through her leadership and consistency. Guards Hallie Brankel (5-5, Sr.) and Hadley Henshall, along with six-foot forward Holland Robertson (6-0, Sr.), round out a veteran core that has seen significant minutes and understands the demands of a tough schedule.
Juniors Olivia Downing (5-8, Jr.) and Caitlyn Schmitt (5-6, Jr.) add versatility, while sophomore guard Olivia Neal (5-5, So.) provides energy and depth. But one of the biggest reasons for optimism comes from the four freshmen expected to contribute immediately. Athletic six-foot forward Amaya Van Zante (6-0, Fr.) brings a high motor and enormous potential, while fellow six-footers Jossilyn Hatch (6-0, Fr.) and Hadley Henshall (5-7, Fr.) add needed size in the frontcourt. Freshman guard Jestyn Jenkins (5-8, Fr.) gives the Knights another promising backcourt piece capable of sliding into important minutes.
With returning production, improved depth, and a schedule featuring opponents undergoing rebuilding years, Crossings Christian believes this could be a breakthrough season. Coach Williams sees a group hungry to compete, committed to daily improvement, and ready to chase the kind of success that has eluded them in recent years.
