VYPE: What is your favorite part of the position you play in soccer?
Camryn: I play midfield and forward. My favorite part of playing those positions is how involved I am in the play of the game, and it is so much fun to score goals as well.
VYPE: What has soccer taught you that you use in your daily life?
Camryn: The importance of determination. Soccer is a very mentally tough sport. It’s taught me how to push myself even when I’m uncomfortable.
VYPE: Why are you passionate about soccer?
Camryn: I love it. It’s that simple. Playing soccer is fun and I think I’m so passionate about it because I know how much the sport has taught me. I am forever thankful for that.
VYPE: Who is your favorite teacher and why?
Camryn: That would have to be my mom. She is the best mom and the best teacher. She cares so much about each and every kid she teaches, and I think she is just awesome.
VYPE: Who inspires you and why?
Camryn: My big sister. She is my very best friend. I was lucky enough to get to grow up with her my whole life. The way Alix carries herself is something I could only aspire to do. Another person who inspires me is my dad. He is the best dad a girl could ask for. He is the one who taught me everything I know about soccer, he inspires me because of how he cares so much about the people he loves.
VYPE: What is your favorite part about representing Bethany as an athlete?

VYPE: What is the best advice that anyone has given you?
Camryn: It doesn’t matter if you make a mistake, it’s how you respond. Everyone is going to mess up but it’s how you respond to your mistakes that determines the kind of player you are.

Camryn: I want to play division one soccer, and hopefully go into pre-med.
