Graduation has taken its toll on the Bobcats, but head coach Kevin Korstjens believes the new faces will help this team continue to compete at a high level.
“We will be young and talented. We graduated eight guys last year and that’s always hard to replace but I’m very excited to see what these guys will do with their opportunity, “said coach Korstjens.
Dax Glenn (Jr.) is a talented player that can score in a multitude of ways. Coach Korstjens said of Glenn, “he’s a great teammate that only cares about winning.” Glenn will carry the load this season as several underclassmen embrace their new role as starters on the varsity team.
Kolton Moore (Jr.) is a transfer from Yukon High School. Coach Korstjens said Moore has bought into the system and is expected to help the team win this season.
“Since he has gotten to BC he has worked to get better, been a great teammate and is completely buying into our team and culture. I expect big things from him,” said coach Korstjens.
Another junior to watch is Landon Smith. Smith is entering his second season at Bridge Creek and has continued to work to improve his game. Never afraid to work hard, Smith is always looking to learn more about the game and improve his technique. Also look for Logan Hastings (So.), an exciting underclassman who coach Korstjens said is a player making huge strides in his game.
