Sam Teague
Tuttle High School
Tuttle High School senior Sam Teague has spent a lifetime on the court and for the last few years she has represented the Lady Tigers on the court. It’s something the senior will miss once it comes to an end this spring.
“I love the atmosphere of every game and I also love my teammates and coaches,” said Teague. “My teammates are my best friends. They are always there for me and know how to put a smile on my face.”
With her final season in the books, Teague said she is proud of her teammates and how they fought through adversity this season.
“Our season is over, but we have improved immensely throughout this season. We have been faced with many injuries that could have stopped us from playing how we play but we actually got better from it. We are a team that has effort and energy no matter what,” said Teague. “I think my IQ has improved most this season along with my leadership which is super important.”
Also a member of National Honor Society, Teague said she enjoys biology and anatomy class. Continuing her education at the next level will become the focus after the summer.
“I’m going to Oklahoma State University after I graduate and couldn’t be more excited,” said Teague.
In her free time, Teague said she enjoys shopping, hanging out with friends, and working out. Congratulations to Teague and her Lady Tiger teammates on making the state tournament this season.
