Christian Heritage’s Hope White

Since the age of five, Christian Heritage senior Hope White has played soccer and is playing center midfielder in her final year of prep sports.

Over the years White said she has made some great memories with her teammates, but there are a few that stand out.

“My favorite memory playing in high school was a tournament in Weatherford when the team got to stay in a hotel and we won the freshman championship,” said White.

White said the team is working hard to prepare for the season and she continues to develop her game as well.

“One of my strengths is being competitive and tough and being able to be available on the field. I am improving on my finishing abilities,” White said. “The coaches and teammates are very close and keep everyone accountable off and on the field.

For White, her teammates are more like family and several of them do whatever it takes to make the game competitive and fun.

“I have been impressed with a few teammates who work hard even when everyone else is slacking,” White said. “Brooklynn Hunt keeps everyone laughing with her funny comments, and Joy Washa is serious in her goal for bettering herself. I love how my teammates are always there for me.”

White has plans for her future after high school. Attending college is the top priority.

“My goal for after high school is to play college soccer well and to study accounting,” said White.
