2024-25 Record: 30-2
OUTLOOK
As coach Fletcher Reed enters his first season at Dale High School as head coach, he inherits a team that returns two VYPE Top 100 players and a team built for competition. His outlook on the season is everything you want from a coach in his first season with the program.
“Love the outlook for this upcoming season! Hard working group of young men that are bought in to doing the little things that add up to winning! Have the potential to be tough to score on due to our size, athleticism, and willingness to compete. Very explosive offensively due to our pace, ability to score from multiple positions as well as share the basketball,” coach Reed said.

Denton Forsythe (6-0, Sr.) is back after averaging 19 points, 6.0 rebounds and 5.0 assists per game. Forsythe shot 47% from the three-point line last season and he is expected to have a huge senior season. Keldan Meely (6-7, Jr.) is another Pirate expected to do great things this season. As a sophomore, Meely averaged 5.0 points, 3.0 rebounds and one assist last year. Meely is a mismatch for most opponents, and he’s become a force on the defensive end of the court.
Jeremiah Skaggs (6-0, Jr.) and Tryson Nash (5-11, Jr.) are two guards looking to get into the action this season. Both guys can play fast and help this team in transition. Brandt Goodnight (6-2, Sr.) is an effective guard who can help on the boards. Look for this trio to carve out their spots this season and help this team reach their goal of a deep run in the post season play.
Other players to watch include Wyatt Seeley (6-0, Sr.) at guard, Keiton Hill (6-3, Sr.) at guard and AJ Carpenter (6-4, Sr.) in the post. Carpenter will be an asset for teams who look to double down on Meely.
