Q&A with Tecumseh’s Wyatt Dodgion

VYPE: Do you plan any sports other than football?

Wyatt Dodgion: Yes, baseball.

VYPE: What’s one thing everybody needs to know about Wyatt Dodgion?

WD: I’m always willing to put that work in.

VYPE: How long have you been playing football, and who motivated you to start playing?

WD: I’ve been playing football since second grade, my cousin, AJ, is who motivated me to play football.

VYPE: Did you play quarterback from the beginning?

WD: I’ve played a little bit of quarterback, but this is the first year starting.

VYPE: How did you come into the starting role this season, and how are you adjusting to the responsibility?

WD: I had to work every day during the offseason, it’s a big responsibility but it’s all handled.

VYPE: How would you describe the experience of playing quarterback in a small town?

WD: It’s pretty normal. I don’t have any other experiences anywhere else so I wouldn’t know how it would feel.

VYPE: What is your greatest motivation within the game of football?

WD: Getting an offer.

VYPE: What are your expectations for this year?

WD: Making the playoffs.

VYPE: What is it going to take for you to get there?

WD: Me and my team grinding every day.

VYPE: What do you hope your teammates would say about you?

WD: Great team leader.

VYPE: What are your long-term goals in the game of football or baseball?

WD: To be great one day.
