OUTLOOK

Winning is part of the culture at Midwest City and the Lady Bombers are no strangers to putting up big wins. Head coach Megan Maloy-Knight said the team has the players to do something special this season.

“Midwest City Lady Bombers are coming back with five seniors, five juniors, three freshmen and three transfers. They will be adding ball pressure for 90 feet and hoping to have many transition buckets,” said coach Maloy-Knight.

Kloey Knox (Sr.) is a shooter who can get to the rim with ease and add ball pressure on defense. Knox is quick and brings a lot of speed to the floor. This season Knox is a VYPE Top 100 selectee and someone who can lead the Lady Bombers into post season play.

Sevyn Miller (Jr.) and Ceidi Johnson (Jr.) are two players on the cusp of breakout seasons. Miller does it all for the Lady Bombers and works hard every day to help her team. Miller is a high-energy player and a 4.0 student in the classroom. Johnson is a spot-up shooter and plays defense with an extremely high-level of intensity.

Bailee Guthery (Fr.) is a threat on both ends of the court for coach Maloy-Knight. In her first year of varsity play, Guthery has displayed the ability to get to the rim and will make an immediate impact on the court this season.

Several players are competing for playing time giving coach Maloy-Knight the ability to show different looks on the court while utilizing players off the bench to keep everyone fresh.
