OUTLOOK
Only losing one senior to graduation means coach Wendi Wells and the Lady Wolves return a decent amount of experience this season. Coach Wells said the team added a scoring threat and is ready to take on a tough schedule.
“Excited about this group! Lost one senior to graduation but added in scoring threat, Josie Megehee. Our freshmen and sophomores from last year gained valuable big game experience and are hungry to improve on last year’s loss in the Area Finals,” said coach Wells.
Josie Megehee (Sr.) is a transfer from Bethel High School and a player who can make an immediate impact. Megehee is a University of Tulsa commit someone who can score at all three levels. Megehee will not be alone. Daley Rice (Jr.) led the team in nearly every category last year as a sophomore and is called the ultimate teammate by coach Wells. Rice is never focused on awards, she just wants to help her team win.
Tarilyn Thierry (Jr.) is a quick point guard who can attack off the dribble. Thierry can knock down the three ball and creates chaos on the defensive end. Allyson McAlister (Sr.) is a floor leader and communicator. Not afraid to do the dirty work, McAlister brings high-energy to the court.
Also look for Chrishelle Milum (So.) at guard or forward. Great size for a guard, Milum is a matchup nightmare for most teams. She is capable of getting hot and going on a run.
Other players to watch include Abigail Clements (So.), Tatyanna Thierry (So.), Breeauna Simpson (Jr.), Deoncesay Beavers (So.), Karma Mason (Fr.), Amiyah Briones (Fr.), Aniyah Kowena (Jr.), Molly Megehee (Fr.), and Mya Holland (So.),
