Moore’s Paisley Noles
Moore High School varsity golfer Paisley Noles brings a steady attitude and a deep love for the game to the Lady Lions lineup. A sophomore who has played golf nearly her entire life, Noles says the support of her teammates and lessons from family and former teammates have shaped both her game and mindset.
Paisley Noles has grown up around golf, and that lifelong connection still drives her every time she steps onto the course. The Moore High School sophomore said she has been playing “pretty much my whole life,” explaining that she always had clubs as a child and spent plenty of time practicing. Even now, she said, her love for the game has not faded.
That passion is matched by an appreciation for the people around her. Noles said one of her favorite parts of being on the Moore team is the bond she shares with her teammates. “All my teammates are so enjoyable to be around,” she said. “It doesn’t matter if I am having a good or bad day on the course, they will always be there for me.”
Off the course, Noles draws inspiration from her father. She said his work ethic and selflessness stand out the most. “My dad inspires me,” she said. “He is the most hardworking person I know, and he is always making sure everyone else is taken care of before himself.”
Like many golfers, Noles knows the mental side of the sport can be as demanding as the physical side. She said the toughest challenge in competitive golf is staying positive during a rough round. “When you are playing bad it can be hard to look at the good things,” she said, “but if you can, it can turn your bad round into a better one.”
She also credits former teammate Anna Fritts with helping shape her approach. Noles said Fritts made a lasting impression with her energy and attitude, teaching her not to be too hard on herself.
As for her game, Noles believes her long game is her biggest strength. At the same time, she is focused on sharpening her short game and becoming more consistent, a goal that reflects the same balanced, determined outlook she brings to every round.
