Tyler Reed Reflects on the Season – Presented by Danielle Hill – Shelter Insurance

Christian Heritage junior Tyler Reed has enjoyed playing basketball this season as the team finished the regular season with a winning record.

“My season with CHA was good, our record was 14-10,” Reed said. “I have been impressed with my teammate Landon Davis, he handles the ball and shoots at a high percentage.”

Reed is known for being a high-energy player with the ability to play excellent defense.

“I can play defense and get a lot of steals and hustle, I can score on all three levels, and I improved on guarding people without falling for the first move,” said Reed.

For Reed, being a student-athlete at CHA is special because there is a focus on the classroom.

“CHA is great place because as a student-athlete, the teachers help you in school so you can stay eligible,” Reed said. “As a team pray before games and shootaround to get our minds right before we play competition. I love my teammates because they good friends and we stay locked for games and practice.”

Plans for life after high school are being made now as Reed looks ahead to his graduation in 2026.

“The goal for life after high school is to play basketball at high level,” said Reed.
