Q&A with Moore’s Ben Cruz
VYPE: Ben, when did you first start playing the game of football? What position are you playing this season?
Ben Cruz: I started playing around 3rd grade, and I play wide receiver.
VYPE: What makes this team special to you and your teammates?
BC: I love we’re all close outside of football.
VYPE: What grade are you in this year and do you have a favorite subject in school? What about a favorite teacher?
BC: I’m in 12th grade. My favorite subject is History, and my favorite teacher is coach Jackson.
VYPE: Do you belong to any clubs or groups at school?
BC: I am part of the FCCLA.
VYPE: Who inspires you?
BC: My dad is my inspiration, the way he sacrifices time and money for me to pursue my dreams and he pushes me every day so I can reach my goals.
VYPE: Who did you get your athleticism from?
BC: I get my athleticism from my dad; my dad grew up playing sports.
VYPE: Tell us something you are looking forward to as a senior?
BC: Something I’m looking forward to this year is track season.
VYPE: What would you like to do after you graduate?
BC: I would like to go to college for track.
VYPE: What does Ben Cruz like to do when he has some free time?
BC: I play video games and watch Netflix in my free time.
