2024-25 Record: 22-5

OUTLOOK

Norman boys basketball continues to be a fixture near the top of Class 6A thanks to depth discipline and an expectation of excellence. Head coach Cory Cole returns three starters from a 22-win team that reached the state tournament for the third straight year.

Senior guard Beau Billingsley remains the centerpiece of the program. A four-year starter with a complete offensive and defensive skill set he brings poise scoring and leadership to every game. Billingsley, a VYPE Top 100 selectee, is committed to the University of Texas-Corpus Christi. Senior guard Montrel Combs Pierce adds size and playmaking ability while senior sharpshooter Gideon Holt gives the Tigers perimeter spacing that complements their attacking style.

Newcomers such as forward Caison Robinson (6-7) and guard Aiden Cooper Kelley bring athleticism and fresh competition that elevate the daily standard. ACK transferred in from Norman North while Robinson arrives from Deer Creek. With strong guard play length along the wings and experience in crucial games Norman once again expects to be firmly in the championship discussion.

“We will have notable bench depth with Addox Sanders (6-2) who is a football commit to Navy. Others to watch and expect to contribute Luke Noles (6-0, Fr.), Asher Benton (6-0, Jr.), Braylon Robinson (6-2, Fr.), Carter Beltz (6-0) and Cooper Beltz (6-0),” coach Cole said.
