OUTLOOK
Big things are always brewing at CAHS. Head coach Kyle Richey has a team coming off a big season, hungry as ever to get to the state tournament and bring home a gold ball.
“Coming off a 28-2 season and earning Academic State Champion honors with an incredible 3.98 team GPA, we’re excited about the balance of experience and new talent on this year’s team. We return four starters from last year, whose leadership and game experience will be a major asset,” coach Richey said.
The Lady Titans have two VYPE Top 100 players in Audrey Plunkett (5-11, Sr.), and Jakary Brown (5-7, Sr.). Plunkett will play forward with Brown starting at one of the guard spots.
“Both ladies are Academic State Champions. Their impact on this program goes far beyond stats. They’ve helped build a culture of hard work, accountability, and high standards. We’re excited to see what their senior year holds and incredibly proud of the legacy they’re leaving behind,” coach Richey said.
Meliah Hatchett (5-5, Jr.) and Hadyn Harrell (5-2, Jr.) are two guards who brings great defensive play and intensity to the floor. Hatchett is willing to play any position and is known for being an unselfish player. Coach Richey said her presence on and off the court helps set the tone for the program.
