NORMAN LADY TIGERS

Coach: CHAD THRAILKILL
 2024-25 Record: 25-3

OUTLOOK

Norman girls basketball enters a new era under head coach Chad Thrailkill with a blend of experienced guards and developing young talent. Senior guards Ady Hybl (5-7) and Avery Ragland (5-8) provide the leadership and steady play needed for a roster filled with new faces in key roles.

Hybl serves as a floor leader with strong vision and a consistent outside shot as a point guard. Ragland brings slashing ability and defensive intensity along the wing. Sophomore forward Marcella Attar (6-0) adds length and rebounding and continues to expand her offensive game giving Norman a high ceiling for growth.

A talented group of juniors and sophomores steps into expanded roles and their development will define the team trajectory. With a commitment to defense effort and steady improvement the Lady Tigers look to build momentum throughout the season and peak when the games matter most. Bailey Johnson (5-8, Jr.) and Taliyah Reed (5-8, Jr.) are two guards who coach Thrailkill will need in the lineup to face the taller guards in the class. Both Johnson and Reed are developing as hybrid type players who can help in the paint.

“This year’s team will have a lot of new faces playing. Senior players Ady Hybl and Avery Ragland bring back experience guard play that will be very beneficial to this year’s team. We will be very young but have a very good core of talent at all positions,” coach Thrailkill said. As the team develops, look for coach Thrailkill to continue to develop younger talent who can mature into important roles for the Lady Tigers off the bench.
