Known as being the most vocal player on the team, Sacha Hunt is a leader who loves her teammates, even when things get tough.
“What I love most is no matter how much we bump heads we always stick together as a team,” Hunt said.
Leadership is the area she is most improved in this year and the team is responding. Heading into post season play, the team is 20-5 and looking to battle their way to the state tournament.
Hunt said it’s family that inspires her.
“My family due to the fact is without them I wouldn’t have any of the things I have now they cherish me make sure I’m token care of even if it’s their last straw,” Hunt said.
Once basketball season comes to an end, Hunt will turn her focus to competing with the track team.
Hunt does have her favorites. From the classroom to where she plays basketball.
“My favorite subject is math, and my favorite teacher is Coach McMahan,” said Hunt. “My favorite place to compete is the Globe Life Stadium. I enjoy going to hoop at The Cage downtown and hanging with my friends.”
