
VYPE: Khloe, what position are you playing for Southmoore this season?
Khloe Lamberson: I’m an attacking midfielder.
VYPE: What’s your strength on the pitch and what have you worked to improve this season?
KL: One of the strengths of my game is my versatility and ability to play both attacking and defensive roles. I’m currently working on improving my speed of play and decision-making under pressure.
VYPE: What do you love most about your team and teammates?
KL: I love how supportive and competitive we are at the same time. Everyone pushes each other to get better, but we also have a really strong bond on and off the field.
VYPE: Who inspires you?
KL: I’m inspired by my coaches and teammates who constantly push themselves to improve. Seeing their work ethic motivates me to keep getting better every day.
VYPE: Are you involved in any other activities?
KL: I focus mainly on soccer, but I’m also involved in National Honor Society.
VYPE: What does it mean to you to represent SHS?
KL: It means a lot to represent my school and community. Playing for Southmoore is something I take pride in, and I love competing for something bigger than myself.
VYPE: Tell us a current or former teammate who has left an impression on you?
KL: A teammate who left an impression on me is Lelu Lamb. She showed great leadership and work ethic, which pushed me to raise my own standards and be a better player and teammate.
VYPE: What would you like to do after you graduate?
KL: I want to continue playing soccer at the college level and keep growing both as a player and a person.
