2025 OKC Football Poll Winners

Edmond Area

Quarterback – Dealon Rice (Guthrie)

Rice ended last season with 61 completed passes on 118 attempts for 805 yards. He had 11 passing touchdowns and three on the ground.

Running Back – Elijah Smith (Guthrie)

Elijah had a big season a year ago, rushing for 1,059 yards and 10 touchdowns. He should continue that production this season.

Wide Receiver/Tight End – Jae Lin Battle (Edmond Santa Fe)

A great target on offense, Battle has great hands and can bring in the big passes.

Offensive Lineman – Taylor Resnick (Edmond Santa Fe)

Taylor is an anchor of the offensive line, and he does a great job of keeping the defense out of the backfield.

Defensive Lineman – Gamble Smith (Guthrie)

Gamble registered 189 solo tackles, 20 assisted tackles, one sack, two blocked field goals, and 12 quarterback hurries.

Linebacker – Kade Barton (Guthrie)

Like Smith, Barton had a solid year on teh defensive side of the ball. He had 46 solo tackles, 41 assisted tackles, seven sacks, 18 tackles for loss, one safety, one fumble, and one interception returned for a touchdown.

Defensive Back – Franklin Sherrod (Edmond Santa Fe)

In the secondary, Sherrod is on patrol and works to keep the opponent’s big plays to a minimum.

Canadian Valley Sports Zone

Quarterback – Rustyn Cook (El Reno)

Cook is a smart football player, leading the offense at quarterback.

Running Back – Antawan Grayson (El Reno)

Split time last year as a sophomore at running back, but he will be the starting back this season.

Wide Receiver/Tight End – Daniel Yebit (Yukon)

As a sophomore last season, Daniel started every game at cornerback. His experience in the high jump on the track team gives him an edge over most defensive backs.

Offensive Lineman – Stone Perkins (Mustang)

A great kid who works hard and is a leader on the line.

Defensive Lineman – Julio Vera (Mustang)

Vera is a beast on the defensive line, finding a way to get in teh backfield and disrupt the opponent’s plays.

Linebacker – Josiah Stevens (Mustang)

Always has his head on a swivel and is ready for whatever comes his way.

Defensive Back – Tayten Duncan (Mustang)

Duncan brings speed and agility to the secondary.

Moore-Norman Area

Quarterback – Taven Hays (Southmoore)

He is athletic and a good decision maker with the ball in his hands.

Running Back – Byron Mason (Norman North)

A starter this season, he has all the tools to be a D1 running back.

Wide Receiver/Tight End – Landis Greene (Moore)

Landis Greene is a versatile playmaker who uses his size and athleticism to excel as a wide receiver.

Offensive Lineman – Brady Prestridge (Moore)

Prestridge is a strong and dependable offensive lineman who anchors the line with toughness and consistency.

Defensive Lineman – Braylan Herron (Moore)

Braylan is a dominant defensive lineman who disrupts plays with his strength and relentless motor.

Linebacker – Andrew Holmes (Noble)

An athlete who will not be outworked. A great kid on and off the field.

Defensive Back – Seth Wilson (Noble)

Seth is like having another coach on the field. He has been a three-year starter and the team’s best defensive player the last two years. He has a couple of small school offers. He works extremely hard on the field and in the classroom, too.

Tri-Cities Sports Zone

Quarterback – Noah Smith (Blanchard)

Noah has all the characteristics you want as a quarterback. A great work ethic, enjoys watching film, and is a high-character leader.

Running Back – Lathan McKnight (Bridge Creek)

McKnight is a dynamic running back who combines speed and vision to make big plays out of the backfield.

Wide Receiver/Tight End – Jake Gerken (Bridge Creek)

A reliable wide receiver known for his sharp routes and ability to make clutch catches.

Offensive Lineman – Brayden Heffernan (Blanchard)

Heffernan is a powerful offensive lineman who brings grit and determination to every snap.

Defensive Lineman – Tristin LaBlanc (Bridge Creek)

LeBlanc is a four-year football starter for Bridge Creek. He is a very hard-working young man, respectful, and an outstanding lineman on both sides of the ball.

Linebacker – Preston Scagnetti (Newcastle)

Preston is a hard-hitting linebacker with great instincts and a relentless drive to stop the ball.

Defensive Back – Alec Shumard (Newcastle)

Alec is a quick and disciplined defensive back who excels in coverage and isn’t afraid to step up in run support.

Shawnee Sports Zone

Quarterback – Maddox Davis (Bethel)

Davis completed 107 of 189 passes last season for 1,617 yards and 15 touchdowns. He also had 46 rushes for 334 yards and three scores.

Running Back – Trae Woods (Wewoka)

Senior running back. Very knowledgeable, runs hard, and finds ways to make big plays happen. Trae excels on the field and in the classroom.

Wide Receiver/Tight End – Mason Bennett (Seminole)

After a solid freshman year, Bennett was injured last season. Looks to get back on the field and make a big impact.

Offensive Lineman – Mav Northrip (Seminole)

A three-year starter on the offensive line, Mav will play a key role in Seminole’s success this season.

Defensive Lineman – Jurmar Williams (Seminole)

A great kid who has the potential to develop into a big-time player.

Linebacker – Luke Quinter (Bethel)

Quinter tallied 103 tackles, ten tackles for loss, and seven sacks last year.

Defensive Back – Leighton Swegheimer (Bethel)

In the secondary last season, Leighton had 117 tackles, six pass break-ups, and two interceptions.

Mid-Del Area

Quarterback – Landon Gatson (Choctaw)

Gatson is a confident quarterback who leads the offense with poise and delivers the ball with accuracy.

Running Back – Ricklan Holmes (Del City)

Ricklan is a four-year starter who has continued to improve every year in the program. He has a proven track record as one of the better players on both sides of the ball.

Wide Receiver/Tight End – Titus Hawk (Choctaw)

An excellent tight end, Hawk has been offered by nearly every major Division 1 program in the country.

Offensive Lineman – Arrion Daniels (Del City)

Arrion is a tough offensive lineman who uses his strength and technique to control the line of scrimmage.

Defensive Lineman – Dorian Wiley (Jones)

Ended last year with 25 tackles, three tackles for loss, and two sacks.

Linebacker – Luke DeBusk (Jones)

DeBusk had 94 tackles last year and is expected to continue that type of production this season.

Defensive Back – Kaleb Blackwolf (Del City)

Coming off a great sophomore year, Kaleb will be starting on both sides of the ball, and his talent will be on full display.

OKC Public/Private

Quarterback – Schuyler Turnbull (Putnam City)

Turnbull is a solid athlete who currently holds offers from Air Force and Arkansas State.

Running Back – Anthony Keys (Millwood)

Anthony was the team’s leading rusher last season with 201 carries for 1,456 yards and 21 touchdowns. He also added 19 catches for 306 yards and four touchdowns.

Wide Receiver/Tight End – Bravion Stubbs (Putnam City North)

A three-year starter, Stubbs has great hands and runs routes well. He can find the holes in the defense, and he is a key player for the offense.

Offensive Lineman – Ricky Hinkle (Putnam City)

Hinkle is a reliable offensive lineman who anchors the line with strength, technique, and consistency.

Defensive Lineman – Gavan Krone (Putnam City North)

Gavan is hard to block, has good quickness getting off the ball, and is a long-bodied kid who has a nose for the ball. Saw a lot of action as a sophomore and will play a key role at defensive end.

Linebacker – Denver Young (Millwood)

Young contributed 22 tackles, three sacks, three interceptions, one forced fumble, and two touchdowns. He looks to have bigger numbers this season.

Defensive Back – Carter Akin (Bishop McGuinness)

Carter has great potential in the secondary. He has tremendous instincts and covers a ton of ground in the back end. Started as a Freshman down the stretch last year.
