OUTLOOK
North Rock Creek girls basketball returns after a successful twenty one win season with expectations of taking another substantial step forward. New head coach Lance Blocker inherits a roster filled with experience pace and the athleticism needed to run a fast and aggressive style.
Senior guards Addisen Lawrence (5-5) and Kadence Munn (5-7) provide on court leadership and stability. They handle pressure create scoring opportunities and defend the perimeter with intensity. Junior forward Hailey Anglin (5-9) brings length and rebounding while classmates Peyton Lilley (5-4, Jr.) and Aubree Shivelhood (5-6, Jr.) add toughness and versatility. Also look for Jaxtyn Ratcliff (5-7, Sr.) at forward. Ratcliff and Anglin are important pieces of the puzzle for coach Blocker as he looks for players to crash the boards and score inside.
The Lady Cougars thrive when they push tempo and use their depth to pressure opponents. Returning varsity minutes across the rotation give North Rock Creek the confidence to play fast without sacrificing execution. Younger players continue to grow and provide meaningful depth that strengthens the team identity.
With experience leadership and a system centered around energy and tempo North Rock Creek enters the season as a strong postseason contender.
