VYPE: What’s the first thing everybody should know about Caleb Stephens?

Caleb Stephens: I’m an outgoing person.

VYPE: I see you’ve been lighting it up! How do you feel your senior year is going?

CS: I feel like my senior year is going pretty good, just taking every opportunity and making the most of it.

VYPE: How did you prepare for this year, and do you feel like that dedication has been worth it so far?

CS: I prepared by being in the gym most of the time and being around people with the same goals as me to get better.

VYPE: Have you faced a major challenge in your athletic career? If so, how did you overcome it?

CS: My first year on varsity was a little hard to overcome because of lack of confidence, but ever since then it taught me confidence is everything.

VYPE: What has basketball taught you about yourself?

CS: To always take advantage of the opportunity, to never have the I wish I did this motto and that, with confidence, I can do everything.

VYPE: What would you say is the biggest thing you’ve improved on since that first year of varsity?

CS: I improved on my scoring and defense.

VYPE: Talk about the level of work that went into that improvement.

CS: Countless hours in the gym.

VYPE: As an outgoing person, how does your personality impact team chemistry?

CS: The team feeds off of the energy and all get along, which is the goal.

VYPE: What are your goals in hoops?

CS: To make state and pick up more offers to go to the college level.

VYPE: What are your goals in life?

CS: To be a great man and be successful in life.
