VYPE: What grade are you in and how long have you wrestled?

Brayden Mixay: I am in 11th grade, and I have been wrestling for 11 years.

VYPE: What do you love most about being a student-athlete at Carl Albert HS?

BM: I love the expectation there of being a Carl Albert student-athlete.

VYPE: What’s your favorite subject in school and do you have a favorite teacher?

BM: My favorite subject in school is probably American History.

VYPE: Who in the wrestling room is the toughest workout partner?

BM: The toughest workout partner in the room is probably Cash Wiley.

VYPE: Which teammate always impresses you the most or do you have a former teammate who left an impression on you?

BM: Kingston Sikes is always impressing me because of how much he is accomplishing as a freshman.

VYPE: What would you like to do after you graduate?

BM: Probably join the fire department if not wrestling.

VYPE: What do you enjoy doing in your free time?

BM: I enjoy fishing in my free time.

VYPE: What move took you the longest to master or get good at?

BM: Probably tilts.

VYPE: Is wrestling the toughest sport? Why?

BM: Yes, wrestling is the toughest sport because it can be so draining mentally and physically.
