Mustang’s Aubry Tagmir
VYPE: Aubry, what grade are you in and what position do you play?
Aubry Tagmir: I’m a junior and I play center back.
VYPE: What has soccer taught you that you can use in life?
AT: My sport has taught me that it’s okay to make mistakes as long as you learn from them and not let them bring you down.
VYPE: Who inspires you?
AT: Jesus because He died for everyone on this Earth knowing that not everyone would love Him.
VYPE: What accomplishment are you the proudest of as a student-athlete?
AT: I am most proud of giving my life to Christ, and not because of anything I did, but because of everything He has done, is doing, and will do!
VYPE: What is the best advice you’ve received?
AT: “Do everything in love.” It’s one of my favorite verses of the Bible, and I try my best to make sure I live by it every day.
VYPE: Tell us what former or current teammate left an impression on you?
AT: Lovely Haywood, my basketball teammate, because she showed me that you can have fun while still giving your all in all you do.
VYPE: Do you have a favorite teacher? You can pick someone from any grade.
AT: Coach Shack, my 8th grade science teacher, because she helped me find confidence in myself as a player.
VYPE: Name a professional athlete you look up to.
AT: Kobe Bryant because he’s mentality towards his career and just life its self is something I’ve never seen before.
VYPE: Who would you like to give a shoutout to?
AT: I want to thank God because without Him I wouldn’t be who I am or where I am today.
